Many of our loyal readers will remember not_not_pwang's excellent guest blog from last year in which he shared his musings from Cold Spring Harbor. This year we sent NRS's own investigative reporter, the General, back to the motherland to report on Cold Spring Harbor Asia. Unfortunately it appears that China's firewall is not limited to facebook and twitter, but also has targeted blogspot, so the General will be unable to post from China. To circumvent the firewall, she will be blogging by proxy through me. Apparently the General hasn't been there long enough to have very many musings yet, but she does send us this picture of the DNA lobby to whet our appetites.
According to the General, "there is also a sculpture and i can't tell if it's supposed to be abstract or a protein structure." NRS has not yet obtained a picture of said sculpture, so for now we will all be left in suspense...
