Welcome back! After a brief summer hiatus, we are back in business. What was the highlight of your summer? Ours was clearly the bacon sundae and the official (but not necessarily unofficial) end to G-slump year. What does this new academic year bring for us besides more of the same things you've been trying to do all summer but failed at accomplishing because the weather was nice?
This academic year does bring to us a new insider source into the other, other side of Longwood. We will be reporting about a culture of students we have never had the misery of sharing classroom space and free food with: HSPH. Will they also wear a specific, unsanitary uniform? Will they also pretend we don't exist and gain access to "campus-wide" services that are initially closed to us? We already know that these mathematically orientated students navigate their way around school using technologies not necessarily found in other Quad-based buildings (see picture below). We also now know that HSPH bathrooms have entertaining "Stall Stories" which is actually based on those found at an infamous Big Ten institution and now makes us highly suspicious that bathroom reading, of all things, is what is spreading to other schools from there. Tune in for more insights!
